Good design is an energy efficient design, with low production costs, and minimum impact to the environment, and of course usable and ergonomic. Transportation is movement, and this requires energy. No matter, what drives us, a product is an outcome. How about transporting water to Mars? That is more as a concept rather than actual product, but concept comes from needs, and there is need to explore Universe, or rather a desire. So here I have started my research on how recycling bath or shower water can be solved. And RE-DESIGN is a key word here too, because at most cases when talking about new inventions, it is a research on currently available products with appliance of new or existing technology, or transferring it from one filed to another. And yes, cup is a transporter of water, indeed.
Recycle shower water, or design a new snow gun. Purpose can be anything, transport water to driest places in Africa, or just to water your own garden. It can be fluid, gas or ice, drops, snow flakes, or whatever else water can become. There is no limitation on physical state of water, and purpose or usage. The brief is to design a water transporter. Today I was briefed with one of the modules which is transportation design.
